TurboDrive™

TurboDrive™ control software gives online access and fast, intuitive control of Turbosound controllers and powered speakers, either individually or in a BVNet network of up to 100 devices, as well as the ability to store and back up any settings. User control of input EQ, delay and mute is provided, whilst key factory settings such as limiters and driver correction are locked out to ensure maximum flexibility to the user but to maintain consistent voicing and driver protection in the field.

Control every parameter of an LMS-D2X controller, either by typing in exact values, or by using on-screen curve-dragging to shape system response. Monitor level and mute status accurately, with high-resolution, ultra-fast metering. Individual programs or entire banks of settings can be stored on the host PC and recalled as desired. Networks of up to 100 devices can be built using BVNet. Optional cards installed in LMS-D2X controllers are linked together using standard CAT5E cable. Our proprietary network works much faster than its competitors to provide near real-time response for slick, intuitive control and responsive metering. A continuous discovery feature detects devices added to or removed from the network and adjusts accordingly. TurboDrive™ runs on PCs with Windows 2000 or XP operating systems. For connection to a single unit, an RS232 port is required. To connect to BVNet systems, a Turbosound LMS-BVNet card must be used.

GigMate™

Turbosound's GigMate™ software is based on the EASE FOCUS program developed by Software Design Ahnert GmbH, the originators of the industry-standard EASE electro-acoustic design and analysis packages. GigMate™ is designed to facilitate two-dimensional modelling of Turbosound's innovative Aspect modular point source system, within any performance space.

Turbosound's GigMate™ provides the user with an intuitive modelling tool. It enables quick and easy prediction of the behaviour of an Aspect loudspeaker array of any size, operating in any given venue, auditorium or performance space. The software's current release offers modelling in the vertical plane, and features an aiming and colour mapping display, with a zoomed rigging display, plus extended report printing. Turbosound has also released EASE 4.1 data for its Aspect, QLight™ TCS Compact and TXD series enclosures. The data was measured to the new 5 degree, third-octave standard in a large anechoic chamber.
